Basketball Skills Clinic
at the NorthWest Family YMCA
If your young athlete is looking for a little more practice with a deeper focus to improve their basketball abilities, join us for a 2 hour clinic focusing on fundamental skill development. We will cover footwork, ball handling, form shooting, defensive fundamentals, and conditioning. Bring your own ball if you want to practice with it or we will provide one for you to use. Directed by Coach Wanda Briley, Coach Megan Assey, and Coach Anna Ross.
$35 per session
all proceeds support the Y’s Annual Campaign
Sunday, May 5th from 1 – 3 pm

About the Coaches
– Coach Wanda Briley has over 30 years of camp, clinic, speaking and coaching experience. She was a two sport athlete at the University of South Carolina, coached as a graduate assistant at Appalachian, went on to become the head basketball coach at Wake Forest, and later led High Point University to a Division II National Championship and was named National Coach of the Year.
– Megan Assey played at UNC-Greensboro and coached at Charleston Southern University. She is currently the Head coach of Spring Valley High School where she won the 5A State Championship in 2018 and was the 5A State Runner Up in 2019.
– Coach Anna Ross has over 14 years of camp, clinic, and coaching experience. She played at Wofford College and most recently coached at Cardinal Newman High School.
