Let your home-schooled youth enjoy many opportunities the Y has to offer. With certified, passionate and enthusiastic instructors, our staff will teach your children more fundamentals to physical activity with lessons involving team concepts, sport development and nutrition as well as building and following the core values of the YMCA. Your children will also enjoy time in the pool with fun and instructional games that will enable them to become better swimmers.

The YMCA and HealthWorks are teaming up to provide a discount card for a HealthWorks health assessment for you, a family member or a friend.
The Health Assessment includes the following tests:
» Laboratory Tests (12-hour fast required): cholesterol, HDL/LDL, triglycerides, glucose, CBC with differential, thyroid, kidney and liver function
» Body Mass Index (BMI)
» Height/Weight
» Blood Pressure
» PSA (Prostate Screening) for an additional charge
By combining results from these tests with the Health Risk Appraisal, a questionnaire about lifestyle habits and family history, the participant will receive a comprehensive report detailing his/her current health status.

This member's only women’s circuit training class is designed to help women maximize their workout while increasing their knowledge of the importance of strength training. These 8 session classes will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays monthly from 6-7 pm. The class is limited to 5 participants so sign up now at the front desk! Fee: $50.00
This high energy, intense cardio and strength training class is guaranteed to boost your energy and metabolism to new heights. Easy to follow step moves, plyometric moves, circuit training, jump rope, running drills, abdominal work and push-ups. You’ll be encouraged to work hard enough to increase your fitness level. Participants gather in the lobby of the Downtown YMCA.
Program meets on Mondays 6:00-7:30 PM, Wednesdays 5:45-6:45 PM and Fridays 6:00-7:30 PM
