Job Description:

Seeking part time staff to provide components of the evidence-based Strengthening Families Program (SFP). Strengthening Families Program is designed to reduce family stressors, improve communication, and enhance family functioning. The SFP consists of 14 weekly family dinners and workshops for 10-12 families per cycle.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

The SFP Child Group Leader teach evidence-based curriculum (provided) to a group of 6-11 year old children representing 10-12 diverse families. Group Leader should be patient, positive, caring, and skilled in behavior management. Prior experience working with children is required.

Required Qualifications:

Must hold a Strengthening Families Facilitator certificate and be able to work work the following dates to apply:
Sept 14th, 21st, 28th
Oct 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th
Nov 2nd, 9th, 16th, 30th
Dec 4th, 7th, 14th, 21st

Preferred Qualifications:

The SPF Child Group Leader must also be skilled in interacting respectfully and positively with parents.
