Job Description:

The SFP Childcare Providers will provide recreation, games, arts and crafts, homework assistance, and character education to children of diverse ages (Birth-5 and 12-18). Childcare Providers must be experienced in planning and leading activities, providing classroom management, and working compassionately and effectively with groups of children of all ages. The SPF Childcare Providers must also be skilled in interacting respectfully and positively with parents.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

-Supervises a group of children.
-Adheres to program standards including safety and cleanliness standards.
-Attends staff meetings and trainings.
-Cultivates positive relationships and maintains effective communication with parents, children and other staff. Models relationship-building skills in all interactions.
-Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

-Experience with children in a group setting.
-At least 18
-Must be able to work the following days:
June: 19th, 21st, 26th, 28th
July 10th, 12th, 17th, 19th, 24th, 26th, 31st
Aug 2nd, 7th, 9th, 14th

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience with diverse populations preferred.
