Ages: 3 – 12 years

These lessons follow the YMCA of the USA Progressive Swim Lesson Program. There are six levels of progressively challenging YMCA swim classes covering all strokes and safety skills. Lessons are offered during the weekdays as well as the weekends.

The purpose of the Y Swim Lessons Program is to develop competency in swimming along with confidence and endurance.  The goals of the program are to teach personal safety, personal growth and stroke development in a values-based environment.  Your child will be advanced to the next level only when he or she proficiently and safely performs the skills within his or her level. We teach individually to each child to advance their skills. We expect each child to learn and progress at his or her own rate.

Registration: Registration for weekday lessons opens three Thursdays prior to session start date for members and two Thursdays prior to session start date for non-members. Registration for Saturday lessons opens three weeks before session start date for members and two weeks for non-members.

Tuesday/Thursday, 4 weeks:
September 1-September 24 (registration opens August 13 for members, August 20 for non-members)

October 27-November 19 (registration opens October 8 for members, October 15 for non-members)
November 24-December 17 (registration opens November 5 for members, November 12 for non-members)

3-5 year olds: 6:15-6:45 p.m.
6-12 year olds: 6:50-7:30 p.m.

Saturday Sessions, 6 weeks:
August 22-September 26 (registration opens August 1 for members, August 8 for non-members)
October 3-November 7 (registration opens September 12 for members, September 19 for non-members)
November 14-December 19 (registration opens October 24 for members, October 31 for non-members)

3-5 year olds: 11-11:30 a.m.
6-12 year olds: 11:35 a.m.-12:15 p.m.

Home School Swim and Gym

Ages: 4-14

The Home School Swim & Gym program is a great way to work physical activity, healthy living, socialization and play into your homeschool curriculum. The goal of swim and gym classes for students is to have planned individual and cooperative physical activity and fitness assessments promoting the students’ optimum physical, mental, emotional, and social development. Participants will also learn sports and swimming skills while developing social relationships.

Members: $55
Non-members: $75
(Sibling rate is $45/$65. You must register at the front desk to receive the sibling discount.)

Adult Swim Lessons

Ages: 13 and up

The YMCA Adult Lesson plan offers an introduction to the water for those seeking to learn how to swim. The goal of these lessons is to make the adults competent, confident, and successful swimmers. This program is also for adults who are proficient in swimming and just want to develop their strokes.

Private Swim Lessons

Ages: 3 & up

One-on-one swim lessons with a trained swim instructor. Each 30-minute session is scheduled between the instructor and the participant.

Semi-Private Lessons (2 or more people):
Members: $50 / Four 30-minute classes

Water Aerobics Classes

Ages: 15 and up

Water aerobics is water exercise focused on building strength, mobility and flexibility. Classes are lead by a trained instructor for shallow and/or deep water exercise. Float belts are provided for deep water classes.

Pool Parties

Pool Parties

Ages: Open to all

Pool parties can be held for any occasion. Rentals include one hour in the pool and one hour in the multi-purpose room for the party. A lifeguard will be assigned to help you with swim testing and setting up the party. Price includes 10 guests.

Members: $120
Non-members: $180
$25 for additional guards
(A $50 deposit is required to book your party with full payment due the day of the party.)
$25 fee for more children, up to 20 guests total

Available times:
Saturdays, 1-3 p.m. or 4-6 p.m.
Sundays, 2-4 p.m.
