Healthy Kids Day is a day dedicated to teaching kids and families how to be active, healthy and have fun together. Events include healthy snack options, games, physical challenges, brain teasers, sports games and more! Stay tuned for information about how each branch will be celebrating Healthy Kids Day in 2012. YMCA healthy kids day is a fun-filled event designed to promote healthy children and families through the YMCA. The YMCA will be partnering with Orangeburg County’s Safe Kids Day to introduce children and families to healthy programs and tools available through the YMCA.

This program allows home schooled students participation in a variety of activities designed to fulfill physical education requirements. Small group instruction is offered weekly at the YMCA. Progressive swim instruction and sports activities will be included in each session.

Ages: 3-10 years
Calling all princesses! Join us in making tiaras, wands, and much more! The highlight of this fun event will be a Royal Coronation where each guest is crowned “Her Royal Highness” Princess of the Day. Participants will also have the choice to spend time learning about fictional superheroes (Batman, Spiderman, etc.) and inventing their own superhero. Guests even design a cape and decorate their superhero eye masks.
