Child Care

Child care and early learning programs at the Y focus on holistically nurturing child development by providing a safe and healthy place to learn fundamental skills, develop healthy, trusting relationships and build self-reliance through the Y values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. That makes for confident kids today, and contributing and engaged adults tomorrow.

For more information on Child Care programs, please contact Olivia Gant.

The Northwest Y Afterschool Program is a fun place to be with lots of positive staff interaction and learning opportunities. We provide a healthy snack, physical fitness time, homework help and a wide variety of other activities, including STEM and time to socialize with friends or play games.

Our childcare/afterschool program has been adjusted to coincide with Lexington-Richland Five’s school schedule. The cost of weekly childcare will be adjusted once the school district returns to a 5-day week schedule.
