Run for a Cause at the YMCA of Columbia’s Annual Pumpkin Run 5K, October 29, 2016
The YMCA of Columbia’s 11th Annual Pumpkin Run 5K and Kids Fun Run will be held at the NorthWest Family YMCA in Irmo on October 29, 2016. This year’s family-friendly event will include a costume contest with a cash prize for the best male and female costumes.
Proceeds benefit the Y’s Annual Campaign, which provides financial assistance to those in our community who need the Y’s life-changing programs and services. The Y’s community support addresses many issues such as school readiness, chronic diseases and youth feeding programs. Funds raised through the Annual Campaign allow the Y to live by it’s mission to be “for all.”
“The Annual Pumpkin Run is fun for the whole family,” says Ilia Owens, Community Wellness Director. “Put on your favorite Halloween costume and join us to run or walk for a great cause that allows the Y to continue to change lives and strengthen our local communities.”

Early Registration (by Oct. 15): $25
