Welcome La’Toya Browne — Associate Exec. Director (Membership) at Jeep Rogers Y!

We are thrilled to introduce the newest member of the Jeep Rogers YMCA family: La’Toya Browne, our new Associate Executive Director! 🎉

LaToya is a proud native of Brooklyn, NY, who also spent nearly 10 years of her formative years in Barnwell, SC — bringing the perfect mix of Brooklyn spunk and Southern charm. She’s affectionately known as the Brooklyn Belle, and once you meet her, you’ll quickly see why!

With nearly two decades of nonprofit experience, La’Toya has dedicated her career to serving others. From helping individuals with disabilities find meaningful employment, to fundraising for the autism community and underserved youth, her passion for community shines brightly. Her love for service sparked early — as a teenager, she took over the summer free-lunch program her grandmother had run for over a decade, planting the seeds for her deep commitment to youth, wellness, and ensuring everyone has access to the resources they need to thrive.

As she returns to the Y, La’Toya is more passionate than ever about making sure the YMCA remains the best place in every community — a place where people of all ages can grow, connect, and live healthier lives. She’s committed to spreading joy, encouraging healthy lifestyles, and living out the Y’s mission every single day.

Outside of work, La’Toya enjoys spending time with her family, going to church, caring for her 40+ houseplants, gardening, watching basketball, sitting on the beach listening to the waves, and hanging out with her Goldendoodle, Bailey — the coolest, sweetest pup on the planet. And here’s a fun fact: La’Toya believes good music and ice cream make life better!

👉 We encourage you to say hello and give La’Toya a warm Jeep Rogers YMCA welcome! Feel free to reach out and introduce yourself — she’s excited to meet you!
