NorthWest Family YMCA

Member Services Representative
Member Service staff is responsible for providing excellent customer service & keeping members informed of YMCA policies & programs.  Will assist in membership development by building relationships, answering phones, program registration, conducting facility tours, membership sales, cash receipting procedures & proficiently performing all membership functions in the Daxko system.  Minimum 18 years of age with High School Diploma or equivalent.  Proficiency in Daxko & Microsoft Office required.  Ideal candidate will support the mission of the YMCA, display positive and friendly attitude, possess good customer service and organizational skills.  CPR/First Aid/AED/Oxygen certifications required within first 60 days. Please send your resume to Todd Heinecke. Salary Range: $7.25-$8.50/hour.

Building Supervisor
The Building Supervisor will be responsible for the safety & security of the branch during evening and weekend hours.  Must adhere to safety policies & procedures and respond to emergencies.  Complete incident/accident reports, conduct facility tours and answer questions.  Secure the facility before closing at night.  Must be 21 years or older, energetic and responsible.  High school graduate or equivalent. Ability to perform light lifting with upper body.  Courteous, friendly and a genuine interest in members and staff. CPR/First Aid/AED/Oxygen certifications required within first 60 days. Personal Trainer
Personal Trainers are responsible for the creation, scheduling and implementation of a program designed to meet the client’s specified fitness goals in accordance with current safety exercise standards.  In addition, the Personal Trainer will follow all policies set forth by the Association, provide individual, small group and/or class instruction in wellness program development, strength and cardiovascular training.  The personal trainer acts as a liaison and champion for Activate Greater Columbia. Qualifications include; High school diploma or equivalent and six (6) months of related experience required.  Must have current personal training certification by the ACE, and AFAA, ACSM or other YMCA of Greater Cincinnati recognized certifying agency.  Must have current CPR and first aid certification or equivalent or obtain within 6 months of employment. Must obtain Principles of Health & Fitness and YMCA Strength & Conditioning certification or equivalent within six (6) months of employment or first available training.  Please send resumes to toddheinecke@columbiaymca.org. Afterschool Counselors
The NorthWest Family YMCA is hiring afterschool counselors. This position will be part time Monday – Friday from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. with occasional weekend work. Bus Drivers
Class B CDL Bus Bus Driver with passenger endorsement needed Afterschool. Must be 21 years old and have clean driving record. 20 – 30 hours/week $15/$18 per hour.

 

Jeep Rogers Family YMCA

Member Services Representative

Soccer coaches
The Jeep Rogers Y is looking for volunteer soccer coaches for teams with children ages 3-8.Required time: 1 hour per week for practice and 1 hour for games on Saturdays. Requirements: General knowledge of soccer, pass background check and complete Child Abuse Prevention Training (40 minute test). All games and practices will be held at the Jeep Rogers YMCA. Bus Driver
Jeep Rogers Family YMCA is looking for a certified bus driver part-time. Must be able to pass background check and have clean driving record. Pay depending on experience. Contact Liz Woodard for more information and to apply.

 Substitute Bus Drivers
We are looking for bus drivers to be on call when our normal drivers are not able to work. The requirements are the same as above. Contact Liz Woodard to be one of our subs.

Downtown YMCA

Group Exercise Coordinator
Must have experience in developing new classes and programs, evaluating staff and class attendance. Inherent understanding and knowledge in the area of group exercise programming. Minimum 3-5 years experience in adult fitness and program and staff development. Flexible schedule, at least 20 hours per week. Pay: $11/hour. Please send resumes to Jennifer Sedio by June 27.

 

Orangeburg County YMCA

Lifeguard
