Ballentine Family YMCA

Custodian
This position is responsible for the necessary cleaning tasks to provide a sanitary environment and maintaining a clean and neat appearance of the entire facility under the guidelines of the Ballentine Family YMCA. Must be able to list and carry 50 pounds in the form of equipment or supplies. Must have the physical ability to do manual labor for an extended period of time, which will include stooping, climbing and bending over. Email Paul Sadler to apply.

Group Exercise Instructor
The Group Exercise Instructor instructs quality group fitness classes, provides excellent customer service to members in a safe, enjoyable and positive environment that promotes member wellness in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures. Downtown YMCA

Lifeguard/Swim Instructor
The Lifeguard is responsible for supervising the aquatics area to prevent accidents, assist swimmers and respond to emergencies. The incumbent will create a safe, enjoyable and positive atmosphere that promotes member safety and satisfaction in accordance with the YMCA policies and procedures. The Lifeguard will oversee multiple activities including open swim, water exercise, swim lessons and lap swimming. Must be Red Cross or YMCA certified. Jeep Rogers Family YMCA

Membership Director
The Jeep Rogers Y is looking for a seasoned leader with strong membership experience to directs all aspects of membership for the branch, including recruitment of new members, retention of existing members and supervision of assigned staff.  Candidates must have proven leadership experience and a successful track record in fiscal management.  The position requires the ability to create and motivate a highly functioning team, as well as provide daily leadership for front desk services and membership operations.  The incumbent will develop, plan and implement new procedures and methods to achieve branch goals. Member Services Representative
Member Service staff is responsible for providing excellent customer service & keeping members informed of YMCA policies & programs.  Will assist in membership development by building relationships, answering phones, program registration, conducting facility tours, membership sales, and online registration. Minimum 21 years of age with High School Diploma or equivalent. Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.  Ideal candidate will support the mission of the YMCA, display positive and friendly attitude, and possess good customer service and organizational skills. CPR/First Aid/AED/Oxygen certifications required within first 60 days. Please send your application/resume to Gert Wells. Pay: $8/hour.

Bus Drivers
Bus drivers are responsible for safely transporting children to various programs and trips. The incumbent will provide supervision and direction for children while they are on the bus. Hours: Monday-Friday, 2 – 4 p.m. Contact Dana Cicchinelli to apply.

Lexington Family YMCA

Zumba Instructor
We are seeking Zumba instructors to teach two afternoons a week. The Group Exercise Instructor instructs a quality group fitness class, provides excellent customer service to members in a safe, enjoyable and positive environment that promoted member wellness in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures. Lifeguard
The Lexington Family YMCA is hiring lifeguards and swim instructors for the summer season. You must have current certifications in Lifeguarding, CPR and First Aid. NorthWest Family YMCA

Member Services Representative
The Member Services Representative provides excellent service to members, guests, and program participants in the branch and on the phone, contributing to member retention; sells and promotes memberships, providing tours to prospective members; sells and promotes programs and classes; process new memberships; handles and resolves membership complaints and inform supervisor of unusual/unresolved issues; and understands and enforces all YMCA polices dealing with member services. More Information Here Contact Todd Heinecke to apply.

Building Supervisor
The Building Supervisor is responsible for the effective & efficient operation of the branch during week night hours. Will actively patrol all areas of the building and record times & observations at designated checkpoints. Conduct building tours for prospective members. Complete Building Supervisor reports & remain accessible through established communications systems at all times during shift. Complete & be accountable for all incident/accident reports; reports must be accurate, consistent & submitted appropriately. Must be at least 21 years old, with high school diploma or equivalent; must possess current CPR certification. Ability to perform light lifting required. Must be energetic, responsible, courteous, friendly & efficient in providing service to members & guests. A cooperative & interested attitude in member needs is a must.
