Home School Swim and Gym
Home schooled youth can enjoy the many opportunities the Y has to offer also. Certified, passionate, and enthusiastic instructors will teach your child more fundamentals of physical activities with lessons involving team concepts, sports development, and so much more. The program will follow core values of the Y (caring, respect, responsibility, honesty, and faith).

The Y-Club Afterschool Program is a fun place to be with lots of positive staff interaction and learning opportunities. We provide a healthy afterschool snack, physical fitness time, homework help and a wide variety of other activities, including STEM and time to socialize with friends or play games.
Hours: School dismissal – 6:15 p.m.
Ages: Kindergarten – 8th grade
Weekly Cost: $45 members/$60 non-members
When there is a half day at school, we will still hold afterschool and pick up the children from school. School in-service days and student holidays are included in regular weekly fees, except for holiday breaks (Winter Break and Spring Break) are registered and paid for separately.

Get one-on-one fitness training with a nationally certified trainer. Designed to evaluate, motivate, and educate so that you get the most out of every workout. Your trainer will provide motivation to help you meet your goal, train for a sport, get ready for a special event, or just increase your level of health. How do I get started on MobileFit?
It’s easy to get started using MobileFit by registering for one of the three My Fit programs: SmartStart, Healthy Eating or Personal Training. Coaches will enroll participants during their first session.
How can I access MobileFit once I am enrolled?
Choose one of the many options to access MobileFit; there are touchscreens in your local branch; to print a custom workout and log your results: download the MobileFit App for free on an iPhone; access MobileFit from other smart phones through mymobilefit.com; or access on your iPad or tablet.
Youth Swim Lessons
These lessons follow the YMCA of the USA Progressive Swim Lesson Program. There are six levels of progressively challenging YMCA swim classes covering all strokes, diving fundamentals and safety skills. Lessons are offered during the weekdays as well as the weekends.
The purpose of the Y Swim Lessons Program is to develop competency in swimming along with confidence and endurance. The goals of the program are to teach personal safety, personal growth and stroke development in a values-based environment. Your child will be advanced to the next level only when he or she proficiently and safely performs the skills within his or her level. We teach individually to each child to advance their skills. We expect each child to learn and progress at his or her own rate.
Registration: Open two weeks prior and closes two days prior to start date and is available at the front desk or online (below).

This is an introductory swimming level. Ideal for children to adjust to the water and learn basic swimming movements as they progress toward swimming independently. Summer sessions: Mondays-Thursday, 9-9:30 a.m. or 4:45-5:15 p.m., or Saturdays, 9:15-9:55 a.m. Fall sessions: Mondays/Wednesdays or Tuesdays/Thursdays, 4:45-5:15 p.m; or Saturdays, 9:15-9:45 a.m.
For children who can independently swim at least five feet without a flotation. Our team focuses on teaching progressive kick, arm, and breathing technique. Summer sessions: Mondays-Thursdays, 9:40 – 10:10 a.m. or 5:25-5:55 p.m., or Saturdays, 10-10:40 a.m. Fall sessions: Mondays/Wednesdays or Tuesdays/Thursdays, 5:25-5:55 p.m; or Saturdays, 10-10:30 a.m.
For children who are able to swim 15 feet independently without a flotation and their face is in the water with rhythmic breathing. Summer sessions: Mondays-Thursdays, 9:40-10:10 a.m. or 5:25-5:55 p.m., or Saturdays, 10-10:40 a.m. Fall sessions: Mondays/Wednesdays or Tuesdays/Thursdays, 5:25-5:55 p.m; or Saturdays, 10-10:30 a.m.
A beginner level for kids either uncomfortable or inexperienced in the water. Our team focuses on basic water skills including gliding with face in water, floating and kicking. Summer sessions: Mondays-Thursdays, 10:20-10:50 a.m. or 6:05-6:45 p.m., or Saturdays, 10:45-11:25 a.m. Fall sessions: Mondays/Wednesdays or Tuesdays/Thursdays, 6:05-6:45 p.m; or Saturdays, 10:45-11:25 a.m.
For swimmers able to complete at least 15 yards of front and back crawl independently. Our team will focus on progressive technique for the front and back crawl as well as the side stroke. Summer sessions: Mondays-Thursdays, 10:20-10:50 a.m. or 6:05-6:45 p.m., or Saturdays, 10:45-11:25 a.m. Fall sessions: Mondays/Wednesdays or Tuesdays/Thursdays, 6:05-6:45 p.m; or Saturdays, 10:45-11:25 a.m.
For swimmers able to complete 25 yards of front and back crawl. Our team focuses on building swim endurance, enhancing stroke technique, and introducing breaststroke and butterfly movements. Summer sessions: Mondays-Thursdays, 11-11:40 a.m. or 6:55-7:35 p.m., or Saturdays, 11:30 a.m.-12:10 p.m. Fall sessions: Mondays/Wednesdays or Tuesdays/Thursdays, 6:55-7:30 p.m; or Saturdays, 11:30 a.m.-12:10 p.m.
We are excited to announce the addition of kettlebells at the Jeep Rogers Y!
Kettlebells offer a different kind of training using dynamic movements which target almost every aspect of fitness: strength, balance, agility and cardio endurance. These classes are perfect for any age and ability because you work out at your own pace and work many different muscle groups. Most exercises are done at a cardio pace for increased intensity, building muscular and cardio endurance all in one class.
We are currently offering the following classes:
-Intro to Kettlebells (30 minutes): Learn the basic movements and proper form for kettlebell training. Foundational exercises including swing, clean, press and snatch.
-Kettlebell Express (30 minutes): A powerful, nonstop circuit that includes swings, clean & press, Turkish get-ups, high-pulls, lunges and a variety of other lifts that develop strength, power, endurance, dynamic flexibility, precision and timing.
-Kettlebell Warrior (45 minutes): This is our advances level class that incorporates dynamic kettlebell lifts, plyometric and body weight exercises for an all-around heart-pounding workout.
Parents, enjoy a night out and leave your kids at the Jeep Rogers Y! Participants will play gym games, swim (please bring a towel and swim wear), enjoy Deep Sea, play board games, arts and crafts, and enjoy dancing to music!
