The Jeep Rogers Family YMCA at Lake Carolina offers a complete lineup of activities and programs for the whole family. Sports, strength and wellness, health screenings, tennis, and childcare. Located in the Lake Carolina area, the branch is perfect for northeastern residents.
YMCA Baseball is an instructional and recreational league. Younger participants will be introduced to the game and learn basic skills such as running the bases, catching, throwing and batting while older players will have the chance to play a more values-based competitive game to help improve their skills. The program will include a practice day and one game each week. All players will have fun in a positive and supportive atmosphere.

Smart Start: Through the support of a coach, participants will identify goals and a path to achieve these goals.
Healthy Eating: With the support of a coach, participants will use MobileFit nutrition to set goals, log foods and make healthy changes.
Personal Training: Certified personal trainers give one on one training, support and coaching.

Triathlon Training Group
If you’ve ever wanted to compete in a triathlon, but not sure where to start, our Triathlon Training Group is a perfect place to train with experienced triathletes and coaches. Participants can meet with a coach up to three times in a week. Coaches will be available early morning, morning, and evening for a one-hour training session. MUST BE A CURRENT Y MEMBER TO PARTICIPATE! The program begins in April and goes through June.
Training schedules will be set-up and available after registration and will vary each month.

Indian Guides Spring Long House
Ages: 5 to 9 years with Dad or guardian
Spring Long House is an overnight camping experience where tribes and individuals participate in traditional and non-traditional activities. Long House is where all Y Guides Tribes come together for tent camping, s’ mores, and more! It is a great way to meet the rest of the tribes and make more friends.
Meals provided: Saturday lunch, dinner and s’mores; Sunday breakfast and lunch. Participants must bring their own tents and gear. (Some cabin accommodations are available upon request and availability).
Activities include: Friday Night movie in the woods, Discovery Hiking, Archery, BB Guns, Canoeing, Kayaks, Horseback Riding, Medieval Castle Water Balloon Battle, Tribal Capture the Monarch, Fishing (bring your own equipment), S’mores and Council Fire.
Days: April 25 – 27, 2014
Program starts Friday night at 5 p.m. and end Sunday at 1 p.m.
Cost: Members: $50 per parent/child team, $20 for each additional child Non-members: $75 per parent/child team, $20 for each additional child

Couch to Festival of Roses 12k
Experience the rush of crossing the finish line at the Festival of Roses 12K on Saturday, May 3 in Orangeburg! There is no better feeling than completing your first 12K race. Whether a beginner or an experienced runner, this 10-week program will help you train to run your first 12K or help you post your personal best. Program dues includes entry to the Festival of Roses 12K and race t-shirt.
