Afterschool Referral Discount for Downtown Afterschool Program
Current Downtown YMCA afterschool families who successfully refer a new student will receive 50% off their weekly tuition for one of their currently enrolled children for the remainder of 2025.
The referred family will also receive 50% off their weekly tuition for the remainder of 2025.
👉 Please note: The discount applies only for the weeks when both the referring family’s child and the referred child are actively enrolled in the program.
Referral Program Rules

1:1 Discount Ratio:
The discount is applied at a one-to-one ratio between referred students and the referrer’s children.-
Example 1: A family with one child refers one new student — both the referrer’s child and the new student receive 50% off tuition.

Example 2: A family with two children refers one new student — one of the referrer’s two children and the new student receive 50% off.

Example 3: A family with two children refers two new students — all four children (two current, two new) receive 50% off.

Discount Period:
The discount is valid only for the remaining weeks in 2025. Standard tuition rates resume on the draft date of December 30, for the week of January 5–9, 2026. -
Eligible Programs:
The discount applies only to standard weekly afterschool care. It does not apply to holiday break camps, early release days, or all-day outs. -
New Student Requirement:
The referred student must be new to the afterschool program and not have been enrolled at any time during the current program year. -
Referral Verification:
The referring family’s name must be listed on the new student’s registration form in order for the discount to be applied. -
No Referral Limit:
