The YMCA of Columbia is now offering the YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program to help adults make lifestyle changes that will improve their overall health and reduce their chance of developing type 2 diabetes.

The YMCA of Columbia is now offering the YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program – an evidence-based program shown to reduce the burden of type 2 diabetes – one of the nation’s costliest chronic diseases. YMCA of Columbia Chief Development Officer Wendy Broderick was recognized as one of the “Top 50 Most Influential People of 2014” in the January edition of Greater Columbia Business Monthly.

Broderick was recognized alongside 49 other prominent community leaders including the Mayor of Columbia, the Dean of the Darla Moore School of Business and the CEO of the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce.
