Join us on Saturday, May 23, 2026, for the YMCA of Columbia’s Race to Remember in Historic Downtown Columbia. This 5K Run/Walk and Kids’ 1-Mile Fun Run is open to all ages and abilities, making it a perfect event for families and individuals alike. It’s a chance to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country by carrying a flag or wearing dog tags during the race.
All proceeds from the event benefit the YMCA’s Annual Campaign, which provides financial assistance to those in need of the Y’s life-changing programs. A portion of the funds raised will go toward a YMCA Membership Scholarship for a Veteran, ensuring those who served can access the health and wellness programs they deserve.

REGISTRATION FEES:
- Kids’ 1-Mile Fun Run: $10 run/$15 run & shirt
- 5K Regular: $35
- 5K Day of Race (May 23): $50 (shirt based on availability)
RACE DAY SCHEDULE:
- 7:00 am – Packet pickup & Late registration
- 8:00 am – Kids’ 1-Mile Fun Run
- 8:30 am – 5K Race Start (MAP)
- 9:35 am – Awards Ceremony
