Scuba John’s Dive Shop, in partnership with the Jeep Rogers Family YMCA, brings you the opportunity to discover scuba diving with our exciting Intro Class! Led by our team of licensed Scuba John’s instructors, this class is perfect for anyone aged 8 or older curious about the underwater realm. We’ll guide you through everything you need, from classroom theory to hands-on pool practice using all the necessary equipment.

Half-Day Sports Camps
Campers can explore passions or discover a new one through our half-day sports specialty camps. Campers can pursue their interests with other campers while learning new skills in a safe and fun environment. These camps are great for all ability levels!
AGES: 6-12
LOCATION: Jeep Rogers Family YMCA at Lake Carolina
COST PER WEEK: YMCA Members Members $100, Nonmembers $150
WHEN: Monday – Thursday, 9:00 am – Noon (Fridays are weather make-up days)

2024 Race to Remember 5K and 1-mile Fun Run, Saturday, May 25
The YMCA of Columbia Race to Remember is a 5K Run or Walk and Kids 1-Mile Fun Run that takes place in Historic Downtown Columbia on Saturday, May 25. This race is great for all levels of ability and ages. Participants are encouraged to carry a flag or wear dog-tags to remember and honor military personnel who gave the ultimate sacrifice to serve the United State of America.
