COUNSELOR IN TRAINING CAMP (Ages 14-15)

The CIT Program is officially “The Future Leader Place!” Teens develop leadership skills through mentorship and hands-on experience assisting with camp programs. Requires application and interview (due May 1) and training on May 16. Participants must commit to four weeks. 

When: Monday-Friday, 9:00 am-4:00 pm

Cost per Week: Members $70, Nonmembers $90

Teens will be…

  • Mentored by positive YMCA role models.
  • Certified in First Aid and CPR.
  • Develop and improve leadership skills to use throughout their life.
  • Develop friendships with other teens that share their passion for working with children.
  • Gain real world skills that they can use in future careers.
  • Have fun serving as role models making an impact on the lives of younger children.
  • Earn community service hours that will help with college applications, presidential awards, and more.
