2024 Race to Remember 5K and 1-mile Fun Run, Saturday, May 25

The YMCA of Columbia Race to Remember is a 5K Run or Walk and Kids 1-Mile Fun Run that takes place in Historic Downtown Columbia on Saturday, May 25.  This race is great for all levels of ability and ages. Participants are encouraged to carry a flag or wear dog-tags to remember and honor military personnel who gave the ultimate sacrifice to serve the United State of America.

Join us in the YMCA of Columbia for one of the fastest growing sports in the country! Pickleball combines elements of tennis, badminton and ping pong.  It is a great low impact, aerobic workout for all ages and ability levels. Available at 3 YMCA of Columbia locations!

Mike Dunlap will be celebrating his 82nd Birthday by swimming laps to raise funds for the NorthWest Y’s 2024 Annual Campaign, June 17-21. Money raised through the Annual Campaign helps to provided swim lesson scholarships to those who would otherwise be unable to afford them.

Please support Mike and the NorthWest Y as he swims to provide financial support to those in our community who need it the most.

  • Cheer on the Fireflies against the Salem Red Sox at 6:05 PM on Saturday, May 11th.
  • Post-game fireworks to light up the night!
  • Kids can play catch on the field before the game (5:00-5:20 PM) and get a photo opp.
  • Discounted tickets and optional food vouchers available.
  • Section 110 tickets include a Fireflies hat!

All members and program participants are invited to attend.

Half-Day Sports Camps

COST PER WEEK: YMCA Members Members $100, Nonmembers $150

WHEN: Monday – Thursday, 9:00 am – Noon (Fridays are weather make-up days)
