Saturday, March 4
We’re Celebrating March Madness with a Life and Athletics March Madness on Saturday, March 4 from 10 am to 1 pm! University of South Carolina and South Carolina Athletic Hall of Famer Sheila Foster will begin our event by sharing words of wisdom learned on her journey through Life and Athletics.

JOIN GIRLS ON THE RUN AT THE NORTHWEST FAMILY YMCA
So much more than running, Girls on the Run ignites a confidence unlike any other after school program. Inspiring girls to make new friends, discover healthy habits and lean in to what makes them unique, #GOTR focuses on the entirety of every girl. Now Hiring Lifeguards and Swim Instructors!
The YMCA of Columbia is now hiring lifeguards and swim instructors at three locations – Jeep Rogers, NorthWest and Orangeburg!
YMCA lifeguards are responsible for maintaining safe swimming conditions in the pool, on the deck, and surrounding areas. They also create a safe and positive atmosphere that promotes member safety and engagement.
Not certified? Don’t worry, we’ll teach you. We’re now offering lifeguard courses at all of our pool locations. Learn more about dates, times and locations. Lifeguard Classes
