YMCA OF COLUMBIA LAUNCHES WENDY BRODERICK YOUTH MEMORIAL FUND
[COLUMBIA, S.C. – January 7, 2021] – The YMCA of Columbia has created the Wendy Broderick Youth Memorial Fund in honor of Wendy Broderick, who passed away earlier this week after battling significant health challenges.
Broderick was an 18-year veteran of the YMCA of Columbia having most recently served as the Chief Development Officer in 2019. During her time with the Y, she made a significant impact. Her heart for philanthropy and leadership increased annual giving donations tenfold and she played an instrumental role in launching both the Jeep Rogers and Downtown Branch.

Each week you’ll log your walking, running, swimming, biking or any type of cardio miles to win prizes throughout the year. And all miles count, whether your working out at the Y or walking around your neighborhood!

Child Care is Back at the YMCA of Columbia!
Child Watch is back at the Y starting Nov. 30! You can now bring your child(ren) in to engage in fun and healthy age-appropriate activities while you work out, take a group exercise class, or swim laps. Child watch is available on a limited basis and is free for members. Registration is required at least one hour in advance. Masks are required.
