Alison Allen Pump-A-Thon

Now Offering T-Ball at Our NorthWest YMCA Location!

NEW! The NorthWest Family YMCA is now offering PEE WEE T-BALL for kids ages 3-5. T-Ball is great way for young children to develop hand/eye coordination and ball skills. Children will hit the ball off of a stationary tee and use a softer ball, making it safer for young kids to learn introductory baseball and softball skills.

Jersey shirt and ball cap will be provided by the YMCA. Parents must provide baseball pants, cleats, and glove. All other equipment will be provided by the YMCA.  Teams will play 6 games.

LiveStrong for Cancer Survivors

LIVESTRONG is a free 12-week  program designed for adult cancer survivors.

This small group program fulfills the important need of supporting cancer survivors in our community. Survivors will work with Y staff, trained in supportive cancer care, to safely achieve their goals such as:

»  Building Strength;
»  Increasing Flexibility and Endurance;
»  Improving Confidence and Self-Esteem.

By focusing on the whole person and not the disease, LIVESTRONG at the YMCA is helping people move beyond cancer in spirit, mind and body.

Sports clinics are designed for the development of sport fundamentals, skills and sport training. They are ideal if you are looking to improve sport specific skills, while also engaging in a fun and social group atmosphere. Most of our clinics are held at our Jeep Rogers, NorthWest and Orangeburg location and focus on volleyball, basketball, football, tennis, and adult pickleball.

Adult Coed Volleyball – NorthWest Family YMCA

Games will be played at the Northwest Family YMCA on Monday nights between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm. Games will begin on Monday, Aug. 21 (No games on Sept. 4 in observance of Labor Day). The season will consist of 6 regular season games, and a single elimination tournament at the end of the season (7 games total). Sign up by yourself and we will place you on a team, or sign up with friends or bring your entire team.

Ages: 18 and Up

Season: August 21-October 9

When: Mondays, 6:00 – 9:00 pm
