Registration is now open for the 3rd Annual Nate Stephens Memorial Golf Tournament & Silent Auction on Monday, Nov. 14 at the Charwood Country Club in West Columbia.  Check-in will begin at 9:30 am with a shotgun start at 11:00 am.

All proceeds will benefit the YMCA of Columbia Youth Sports Program in memory of Nate Stephens, who passed away in August of 2019.

Flag Football and All Girls Flag Football

THE Y… BUILDING TEAM PLAYERS!

Flag football provides young players a fun and exciting opportunity to engage in a non-contact sport while learning lessons in teamwork and sportsmanship. Players will learn the FUNdamentals of football, both offensive and defensive strategies. During the games players will have the opportunity to play different positions. Everyone gets to play a minimum of half the game.  

This season the Y will offer Pee Wee Flag Football, Flag Football, and an All-Girls Flag Football. ALL players must wear a mouthguard.  Jerseys will be provided.

Community Game Night on Aug. 18!

Join us at the Downtown YMCA on Thursday, August 18 from 6:30 to 9:00 pm in Studio 2 for a free evening of game play!  Firefly Toys & Games will supply pinball machines, board games, cards, and more for all to enjoy.

This is a great way to unplug from the world and enjoy time with family and friends in a climate controlled environment.

Support Refugees in Columbia Through The YMCA

The YMCA of Columbia is excited to be supporting families in the Midlands by hosting Afghan refugee students in our Summer Camps. Most of these students fled Afghanistan less than a year ago. Many of these families provided aid to the U.S. military in Afghanistan. They have had to acclimate to our language and culture overnight. We want to aid them in doing just that!

YMCA Summer Camps enrich refugee students through continued English language exposure and social skill development. These tools help them succeed when they return to the classroom in the Fall. Additionally, children grow in confidence, teamwork ability, […]
