This year’s featured speaker is nationally renowned University of South Carolina Track and Field Coach, Curtis Frye. He will share with us how his faith has guided him through his long and storied career.

Strength Training for Young Adults

Strength Training for Young Adults (Ages 18-22)

This 6-week program is designed for young adult participants. A certified trainer will guide you through basic strength training techniques twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 to 6:00 pm.  Muscle development and strength will be assessed throughout the program. (12 Sessions)

WHEN: May 16-June 22

TIME: Mondays and Wednesday from 5 to 6 pm

WHERE: Jeep Rogers Family YMCA

COST: $135 Members, $235 Nonmembers

Race to Remember 5K Run/Walk – Saturday, May 27

The YMCA of Columbia Race to Remember is a 5K Run/Walk and Kids 1-Mile Fun Run that takes place in Historic Downtown Columbia on Saturday, May 27.  This race is great for all levels of ability and ages. Participants are encouraged to carry a flag or wear dog-tags to remember and honor military personnel who gave the ultimate sacrifice to serve the United State of America.

The YMCA of Columbia 2023 Annual Campaign is a great opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those around you and help build a safer, stronger, and healthier community.

Donations to the Annual Campaign go directly to create scholarships for those in our community who need the Y’s lifesaving services the most and the Y never turns anyone away based on ability to pay.  Your donation could provide:

  • Lifesaving swim lessons to a child or adult
