Will the YMCA of Columbia remain open?
The Y will temporarily suspend all activities at our facilities, including facility access. This is effective from 6:00 pm, Saturday, March 21, until Monday, April 6.

Are you still providing childcare?
In partnership with Prisma Health and Richland School District One, the Y will provide childcare for emergency service workers and health care workers who have no other options during the coronavirus pandemic. We believe it is our responsibility to care for the caretakers.  We need your continued support to meet this critical need.

What about group swim lessons?
All swim lessons have been cancelled for the period of March 16-April 6, 2020.  A credit will be issued so that swimmers may enroll in another swim session once restrictions have been lifted.

Will my child still be able to participate in youth sports?
Youth sports have been postponed for the period of March 16-April 6, 2020.

Can I still view group exercise classes?
While we are no longer holding group exercise classes on site, you have several online options.  Please click here to gain access to 100+ at home workouts. We will be adding options in the coming days.
