Spring Break Basketball Clinic – Jeep Rogers YMCA

APRIL 11-12  from 9 am to 4 pm

Our one-day basketball clinic is hosted by former collegiate player and Carolina Coyotes TBL Head Coach Nelson Jones. Players will learn fundamentals while growing their mental and physical basketball abilities. Coach Jones and his team have years of private and group clinics experience and we are excited to partner with them.

Attendees who are already enrolled in YMCA Spring Break Camp will be taken to and from the basketball clinic by their camp group. Lunch will be provided by the YMCA.

TRADITIONAL CAMP | AGES 5-12

Our Traditional Camp experience is provided onsite at Richland One schools. Campers will build self-confidence through character education, appreciate teamwork and sportsmanship while gaining independence as they nurture their spirits, challenge their minds and strengthen their bodies. A healthy breakfast and lunch are provided by Richland One. Register for Friday Fun Days to supplement their experience!

At Summer Camp kids find their Y… friendship and fun and a world of adventure!

The NorthWest Family YMCA offers a full day of summer camp from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.   Children will play sports, learn new games, make colorful crafts, conduct exciting and sometimes yummy experiments, go swimming in the indoor pool, play in the splashpad, or go for a nature hike. Campers will also have a chance to go on fun-filled field trips throughout the summer.

CPR and First Aid Offered at the Downtown Y!

AMERICAN RED CROSS CPR AND FIRST AID COURSE

First Tuesday of Each Month at 6:30 pm!

American Red Cross CPR training classes give you the information and the skills you need to help adults, children and infants during breathing and cardiac emergencies. The course is for all staff, members and non-members who are in need of a full or re-certification.

This course includes CPR, AED, First Aid, and Emergency Oxygen skills.

FEE:

Orangeburg County YMCA Natatorium Closed Until Thursday, Feb. 24

The Orangeburg County YMCA Natatorium is currently closed and will not be available for use until Thursday, Feb. 24*.  A Natatorium window was damaged, and while being replaced glass entered the competition pool.  For safety reasons, the therapy pool will also be closed.

All swim lessons and water aerobics classes have been cancelled during this period.

We are sorry for the inconvenience, but the safety of our members and guests remains our top priority.  Thank you for your understanding as we work to complete cleanup as quickly as possible.

Parent’s Night Out – Friday, Feb. 11

ENJOY AN EARLY VALENTINE’S DATE WHILE WE WATCH THE KIDS! (Ages 4-12)

Trained childcare providers will watch your child(ren) while you enjoy an evening out! Kids will participate in games, crafts, music, physical activity, swimming and much more. We will even provide dinner (Chick-fil-A). All you need to do is pack the necessities such as swimsuits and towels. We’ll handle the fun!

SCHEDULE:

  • Check-in: 6:30 pm in childwatch
  • Pick-up: 9:30-10:00 pm by the playground
  • All participant’s must be picked up by 10:00 pm
