Kickstart Your New Year with Our Resolution Run!

Join us for a fun-filled 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run on Saturday, January 3rd at Lake Carolina. Bring the whole family, including your furry friends, for a scenic course through Columbia’s premier community. After the race, enjoy a post-event celebration at the Jeep Rogers Family YMCA with a bounce house, arts and crafts, and hot chocolate. All participants will receive a finisher medal and an official 2026 Resolution Run T-shirt.

Right now, many families across the Midlands are facing growing food insecurity. With uncertainty surrounding SNAP benefits and the ongoing government shutdown, local food banks are experiencing a surge in demand — and they need our help.

Each year, the YMCA of Columbia hosts GIVE WHAT YOU CAN, our annual food drive dedicated to helping our neighbors in need. We’re calling on our members, staff, and friends to come together once again and show just how generous YMCA members can be.

Splash into Summer – Orangeburg and Santee Water Parks Open Last Weekend in May!

The YMCA of Columbia is thrilled to announce the opening of our water parks for summer 2025, offering a refreshing escape for families and fun seekers of all ages.

The Santee Water Park (1761 Bass Drive, Santee, SC 29142) will open May 24th, 25th, and 26th (Memorial Day!) and the Orangeburg Water Park (2550 St. Matthews Road, Orangeburg, SC 29118) opens its doors on May, 29th.
