New Equipment Coming to the Jeep Rogers Y – Wellness Floor Closed April 27

We are extremely excited to bring you the latest technology in fitness! Our new cardio equipment will be delivered and installed on Thursday, April 27.

Due to this large undertaking, the wellness floor will be closed and group exercise classes will operate on a modified schedule. We apologize for the temporary inconvenience but hope you are looking forward to these facility enhancements.

The YMCA of Columbia 2023 Annual Campaign is a great opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those around you and help build a safer, stronger, and healthier community.

Donations to the Annual Campaign go directly to create scholarships for those in our community who need the Y’s lifesaving services the most and the Y never turns anyone away based on ability to pay.  Your donation could provide:

  • Lifesaving swim lessons to a child or adult
  • A safe place for a child in our after school or summer camp programs
  • Scholarships for youth sports which teaches the value of teamwork

Join Us on Wednesday, April 26 to help raise funds!

Help us raise awareness of our 2023 Annual Campaign by signing up for a shift on our Lobby Treadmill or Bike!  Through the Annual Campaign we are able to provide scholarships to help cover the cost of life-changing programs and services for those who are not able to afford them.  Help us by walking, running or biking and telling your friends about the Y’s Day of Giving! Volunteers can sign up for one or more shifts on the lobby treadmill  or bike.

Let’s see which YMCA branch can get the most donations!* The YMCA and the American Red Cross are partnering for a “Day of Giving” across the Central SC footprint on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 from Noon to 4:00 p.m.

Downtown YMCA Building Updates

Thank you for your patience as we continue to take care of the building and take care of you! Over the first quarter of this year, we have fixed many building and workout equipment issues, but are still working through some others. Here is a list of the 1st quarter fixes:

  • Patched holes in walls and painted those patches on the weight room floor, in the men’s locker room, in Group Ex Studio 2, and in the Functional Training Room
