Join us for a fun-filled 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run on Saturday, January 3rd at Lake Carolina. Bring the whole family, including your furry friends, for a scenic course through Columbia’s premier community. After the race, enjoy a post-event celebration at the Jeep Rogers Family YMCA with a bounce house, arts and crafts, and hot chocolate. Take your game to the next level! Each week, a different age group takes the spotlight with action-packed sessions designed to build confidence and sharpen skills. Players will practice the fundamentals—dribbling, shooting, defense, and teamwork—through fast-paced drills and fun challenges.
Led by experienced coaches, every clinic is tailored to each group’s level so players of all abilities can learn, improve, and thrive in a supportive, high-energy environment. Open to all skill levels—come ready to play, grow, and have fun!

The YMCA of Columbia is thrilled to announce the opening of our water parks for summer 2025, offering a refreshing escape for families and fun seekers of all ages.
The Santee Water Park (1761 Bass Drive, Santee, SC 29142) will open May 24th, 25th, and 26th (Memorial Day!) and the Orangeburg Water Park (2550 St. Matthews Road, Orangeburg, SC 29118) opens its doors on May, 29th.

Mike Dunlap 2025 Swim-A-Thon at the NorthWest Family Y
Mike Dunlap will be celebrating his 83rd Birthday by swimming laps to raise funds for the NorthWest Y’s 2025 Annual Campaign, June 16-20. Funds raised through the Annual Campaign make it possible for individuals who couldn’t otherwise afford it to receive swim lesson scholarships.
