Scholarships Available for Afterschool Care
We’re excited to announce that special funding has been secured to make our afterschool care program at Northwest Family YMCA even more accessible this school year! If you qualify, you can receive 50% off the program—no YMCA membership required!

Give What You Can – November Membership Special
Join the YMCA and make a difference. Donate two or more nonperishable food items to any of our five Midlands locations and we’ll waive the $50 join fee. Not only will you save money on membership, but you’ll also be helping to support your community.
Your generosity will directly benefit:
- Sharing God’s Love: This organization provides food, clothing, and other essential items to families in need in Richland County.
- Mission Lexington: Mission Lexington offers a variety of programs and services to help individuals and families overcome poverty and achieve self-sufficiency in Lexington County.
Youth Tennis Clinics
Join Tennis Pro Jon Wheeler at the NorthWest Family YMCA for a month long youth clinic! This 4-session clinic is designed to teach quick start tennis format, forehand, backhand, volley, serve, scoring and other fundamental techniques relevant to the game of tennis. STRENGTHENING FAMILIES PROGRAM (SFP)
Free for Families with a child 7-17 years of age.
Parents and children are invited to participate in a series of FREE interactive, fun, family night! Any family with a child ages 7-17 years old can participate in this awesome 10 weekly session program to learn how to improve parenting skills and communication within the family.
Each session your family will receive a catered meal, weekly incentives full of fun and interactive for the whole family.
